I’m new to amigurumi — where should I start?
Look for patterns marked “Beginner” — they use only basic stitches (single crochet, increases, and decreases) and include a full stitch key and materials list.
My stitch counts don’t match the pattern — what do I do?
Double-check you’re counting at the end of every round, not partway through, and that you haven’t accidentally skipped or doubled a stitch. Most patterns include notes on common mistakes for exactly this reason — check the “Common Mistakes” section on the pattern page.
